This is a cool season perennial legume. This clover grows best when it is planting with grains – oats/rye/wheat – to help protect it from overgrazing. This clover is a very high quality, high yielding which makes an excellent food plot for deer and turkey. This is a perennial that generally lasts 3-5 years.

Time of Year to Plant: February to April for spring planting; September to October for fall planting
Type of Soil: Tolerates different soil types and low pH soil. Clay or loam solids or bottomlands for best results
Pounds Per Acre: 10 pounds per acre or ¼ pound per 1000 square feet
