Has quick establishment, high feed value and palatability. It combines the production of a perennial ryegrass with the extra persistence and summer productivity of a meadow fescue. Kemal’s long tender leaves have the sweetness of ryegrass and is suitable for hay, pasture, silage or chopped and fed direct.

Time of Year to Plant: April to May for spring planting; August to September for fall planting
Type of Soil: It will tolerate a broad range of soil types
Pounds Per Acre: 30-35 pounds per acre alone, or as 50% of a mix with other grasses or legumes
Crude Protein: approximately 24%
